Magic Allergic Man
Circus Charivari – Berlin – 2010
Magic Allergic Man was born back in 2010 on a patch of dirt beside Berlin’s railways. While we were waiting for the tent truck to arrive, we created something called an invisible circus. I just finished exhibiting an exhibition called Amirali’s Medical Profile, and it was based on my medical conditions experienced during my 30-year lifetime back then.
A creature dangerous enough to be transported in a locked cage, as his encounters with the audience would have been dramatic and funny at the same time, when you know he used to be an artist and attempts to deliver an artist talk from his cage to gain the trust of the circus master to let him out. The circus historians of charivari universe recall his two times the only appearance of the stage the first was the time he suffered an asthma attack and because of being exposed to the air and shaving foam and the second was the time he tricked everybody to be let out of the cage and his handcuffs opened to add suspense to his curious life story, but he managed to escape from the tent and the crew who were folowing him and has been never seen ever since!
